About me
Two disciplines taught me the same lesson: cut until only the necessary remains. My background sits at the intersection of literature and computer science — seven years of precision writing combined with hands-on experience building, testing, and breaking software. I understand technical systems from the inside, and I write about them with genuine precision.
On the technical side, I've worked as a PC technician diagnosing hardware and operating system problems, built and deployed an Android app, created websites from scratch in HTML and CSS, tested software professionally, and contributed to open source localization, including translating the Tutanota encrypted email client from English to Greek. I'm comfortable in Postman, familiar with REST APIs, and I read code well enough to document it accurately.
On the writing side, I've spent years producing work where every word is accountable. My three publications — two poetry translations of C.P. Cavafy and K. Karyotakis with historical commentaries, and a philosophical anthology with an extensive critical bibliography — demand the same standard good documentation does: clarity the reader never has to question. That discipline carries directly into how I write technical content.
